A Plague Tale: Innocence is an action-adventure game with an atmospheric and historical setting. The game takes place in the 14th century in France. In the midst of the Black Death, two siblings, Amicia and Hugo, have to face the horrors of life in a world devastated by an unknown enemy.

In the game, the player will control Amicia, a young woman who is the sole survivor of a plague that wiped out almost the entire population of Europe. The player will have to face the challenges of the plague, the terror of the Black Death, the invasion of the monsters of the abyss, and the onslaught of the soldiers of the Holy Inquisition.
